Founded in Maryland, OnTrack provides personalized strategies for families navigating both the competitive college application process and the complexities of IEPs and 504 plans. From application essays to advocacy for special education needs, we ensure students have the tools and confidence to thrive.
Behind OnTrack is Monique Hunter, M.Ed, an education professional with over 25 years of experience in college advising, student recruitment, and special education leadership. Monique began her career as a Special Education teacher and coordinator in Washington, DC, and Charles County schools. She developed and implemented Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), advocated for students with diverse learning needs, and created post-secondary transition plans.
In 2020, Monique became an Independent Educational Consultant, supporting families one-on-one and through consulting partnerships. She guides students in crafting personalized academic plans, developing best-fit college lists, and navigating every step of the application process — from essays to career planning.
